Downtown Bentonville Inc. is a non-profit that builds and promotes a welcoming and lively downtown through experiences, education, and storytelling. DBI produces events such as the Farmers Market or First Friday making the downtown Bentonville lively and welcoming. They also educate, entertain, and tell unique stories through their television show that was launched in 2021 called DWTN Now. Campbell Creative served as a consultant and the creative production for the show.

Strategy

The TV Show - DWTN Now

In 2021, Campbell Creative worked with DBI to form the DWTN Now TV show. The show's inception came out of the Covid-19 pandemic as the non-profit wanted to share encouraging and powerful stories from around the community. DTWN Now is a 30 minute show that incorporates interviews, special stories, and compelling narratives that highlight the uniqueness of the city of Bentonville. Campbell Creative filmed various interviews with Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, Director of Walmart Inc. Steuart Walton, and Sandy Hook Elementary mom Scarlett Lewis among others. The DWTN now television show gained national recognition for its small town storytelling episode called "Fly Oz" - which showcased aviation experiences for everyone in Northwest Arkansas. This episode received a bronze recognition from the 43rd Telly Awards.

The Lighting of the Square Video

In addition to the TV show DTWN Now, Campbell Creative has served DBI by filming various events such as the Lighting of the Square. in 2021, Campbell Creative and DBI won gold recognition from the 43rd Telly Awards for the video that offered a sentimental recap of the annual City of Bentonville Lighting of the Square community event, which showcases thousands of holiday lights strung across the central city square by the Bentonville Parks & Recreation Department.
